Another attack on Northwich On 28th February 2010 Brunner Mond lodged a planning application to build a massive incinerator capable of burning nearly 600,000 tonnes of rubbish every year. The planned incinerator is so large that the decision will bypass the usual local authority route. Visit our dedicated page for more campaign resources 'Consultation' con although Brunner Mond is obliged to carry out a 'public consultation', the reality is that most local residents are totally unaware of what could be in store for them and no serious effort is being made to inform them. The published misleading 'artist's impression' of the incinerator is just one example. Furthermore, CWAC (Cheshire West and Chester) is giving no leadership and is not making it easy for people to object.
